The Ministry of Mines and Energy, as the custodian of Namibia's rich endowment of mineral and energy resources, facilitates and regulates the responsible development and sustainable utilization of these resources for the benefit of all Namibians.





The Government of the Republic of Namibia, has been democratically elected to promote the well-being of the Namibian people within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Namibia.





The Ministry of Finance, is the government agency responsible for Namibia's tax policies and for all tax collection from the mining sector with the exception of export and tax royalties which are collected by the Ministry of Mines and Energy.





The Ministry of Trade and Industry, is the government agency responsible for company registrations and for assessing whether companies are eligible for Namibia's manufacturing, export and Export Processing Zone tax incentives.
